Online Yoga & Meditation

Starting Thursday, March 26th, I will be offering 4 free classes per week through the online platform Zoom. It is my plan to offer these classes for the next few weeks as we continue to self-isolate to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

These classes are free. Click here if you would like to make a donation.

Gentle Yoga & Yoga Nidra

Tuesdays & Thursdays at 7:15 pm (Pacific Daylight Time)

Start with gentle movements linked with breath, then settle onto your back and into deep rest through the guided relaxation of yoga nidra.

You will need a yoga mat and a cushion or rolled up towel/blanket to use as a prop. For yoga nidra, you will be lying on your back for about 30 minutes, so you may want a bolster or cushion under your knees to support your lower back and a small pillow for your head. If you are practicing in a bright room, it is a good idea to have a light cloth to place over your eyes to block the light.

Yoga & Meditation

Sundays at 11 am (Pacific Daylight Time)

Simple movements and yoga postures invite a state of peace and stability, leading to the ideal energetic state for meditation.

You will need a yoga mat and a cushion or rolled up towel/blanket to use as a prop to sit on for meditation. If your hamstrings and/or lower back are tight or if you are new to yoga, it is a good idea to have a strap (or belt, or necktie, etc.), and a yoga block (or a stack of books, a can of paint, etc.) for support.

Using Zoom

If you have never used Zoom before, you can click here for instructions on joining the meeting/class. If you are using a mobile device, it is a good idea to download the Zoom app. To avoid frustration, please set up your connection before class begins.

I will be online about 15 minutes before class starts to answer any questions about class. If you log on earlier than me, you will be placed in a waiting room until I am ready to join.

I hope all of you are staying well and I am looking forward to practicing with you online!
