yoga and

meditation

Private or small group yoga classes are tailored to fit your specific physical, lifestyle and energetic needs. The session will start with an interview to help determine your experience, physical abilities and overall goals, which will inform the design of your classes.

The yoga classes have three stages; asana (poses and movement linked to breath), pranayama (focused breath work), and finally meditation. Every element of the practice is geared toward moving you closer and closer to the energetic state that will be explored in the meditation.

We use the body to connect with the breath.
We use the breath to connect with the mind.
We use the mind to connect to the spirit.

The ultimate goal is not simply that you feel good on the mat, but that you bring the feeling we cultivate during the session (calm, balance, peace, power, bliss, radiance, etc.) with you off the mat and into the rest of your life.

During each session, you will receive practical tips, alignment cues and/or adjustments, and structured feedback to help you get the most out of your experience. You will be able to take what you learn home with you to continue to practice every day.

Available for all levels from raw beginner to seasoned yogi, individuals or groups.

Classes are approximately 90 minutes long and can be conducted either in the Tejas home studio space or at your home (travel surcharge may apply).

75 to 90 Minute Personal Yoga Session $75
3 Sessions – $200
10 Sessions $600

"The quieter you become the more you are able to hear."

Rumi

"As someone who has done very little yoga, I came in to this a bit hesitant that I might not be able to do it. Gillian was amazing, supportive and kind. Her calmness throughout the class made me feel at ease and comfortable. The class was well led and so very relaxing."

"I've been seeing Gillian for massage therapy for over two years now. Her expertise at listening to what my body is complaining about means that I leave every session feeling so much better. I have finally found relief from my constant tension headaches and frozen shoulder."

"Gillian's yoga and meditation classes have equipped me with the ability to ride the waves off stress in my life with a sense of calm and peace. I've already been able to apply what I've learned to my daily life."

“I’m terrible at yoga, I’m not flexible at all.” I hear this so often from people when they find out I teach yoga and it makes me both sad and excited. Sad because it is a reflection of how yoga has been defined in the modern world -- as a fitness regime for...
